Reading and navigation

The preview supports keyboard navigation, visible focus indicators, browser zoom and light or dark themes. A skip link takes you straight to the lessons. Text and controls adapt to smaller screens.

Videos and practice

English captions are available in each video player. You can pause and replay lessons, and use full-screen playback. Some browsers also provide playback-speed controls. Practice questions include written hints and worked solutions, with answer feedback announced to assistive technology.

Known limitations

The captions may not fully describe every diagram or animation. The site has not yet had an independent accessibility audit. The feedback form requires JavaScript and Cloudflare’s bot verification. If verification is inaccessible, you can contact ExplainSTEM by email.
